For over two generations the Palomnio family has been producing premium cigars from the Santiago province in the Dominican Republic. Exported around the world (including Europe, Greece, Canada, and Yugoslavia),
Originally from Cuba, the Palomino family emigrated to the United States during the "freedom Flights" of the mid 1960's. During the cigar boom of the 1990's Silvio began importing these cuban seed, hand rolled cigars to the United States.
A new dimension was added on April 6, 2009 with the opening of Palomino's coffee and Cigar Shop in Palm Springs, Florida.
Presented to Silvio as a gift to help celebrate the opening of his
Palm Springs store, this is a painting of the family-owned fields
where the tobacco is grown in the Dominican Republic.
